Crawler undercarriages

S.A.I.C.I. was the first manufacturer to design variable-gauge crawler undercarriages with a hydraulic system, and has built them for over 40 years.

The S series covers 16 models in 5 versions, with fixed or variable track gauge, articulated or rigid frames in H and X configurations. Frames are made from high-tensile steel and welded by submerged arc. They are supplied to other machine manufacturers as well as used under S.A.I.C.I.’s own equipment — the photographs on this site show them under stone-cutting machines, mobile cranes, crushing plant and a hydromill.
