Description and application
The SCP series of concrete pumps built by S.A.I.C.I. is certainly the most advanced available today for CFA piling. The range covers 4 models with various outputs, built to entirely new principles and with details that make them easy to use while keeping consumption low, noise low and efficiency high. Unlike other machines, the SCP series was designed from the start as a tracked pump with its own integrated frame laid out for ease of maintenance, rather than as a trailer pump adapted to a crawler; the pumping unit can be taken apart in minutes. The machines carry a high-efficiency hydraulic system with a variable-displacement constant-power piston pump, while the services run on gear pumps. The pumping unit has an S valve with self-compensating wear plates. Control is by automatic sequence with direct hydraulic pilot. All machines are sound-insulated and come with remote control, a stroke counter and a heater for the water tank.
