Air lift, SAL 4-45 series

Description and application

The system draws bentonite mud from the bottom of the excavation. It is the recommended choice where the mud carries a high percentage of sand, and is a sound alternative to conventional pumping. Suction is by pneumatic ejector, giving an output of up to 40 m³/h. The arrangement is very practical to transport and to move around a site, since it needs nothing beyond the air compressor. It can also be supplied on a crawler undercarriage so that it moves under its own power.
